In December 2020, McCloud Transportation & Associates conducted Des Moines Area Transit (DART) ADA Paratransit Assessments and Comprehensive Operational Analysis. This project focused on ways to optimize DART’s existing paratransit functions and processes to meet DART’s administrative, operational and federal requirements. The goals of the project were to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the program, and enhance the customer and member community experience. The study assisted DART in re-imagining its overall paratransit program and services both current and future, and promoted compliance with the requirements of the ADA, utilized best practices and industry standards, to meet the needs of customers and member cities.
